About Me

My name is Kevin, and I’m an American student floating around the world and putting off real life. Actually, I’m not technically a student anymore. I’m an adult now, but I’m not too thrilled about it, so I’m taking some time off while I’m young before I jump into the cubicle. I have a passion for traveling and experiencing other cultures. I’m half Iranian but I’m not really in touch with my culture, I regret that. I like to learn about the world – not just governments and cultures, but individual people as well. I like to read about other countries whenever I hear something new about them. Every once in a while I find a great travel story or two online, constantly read their blogs, and pretend I’m with them. I’m kind of a nerd. I have good intentions, but I don’t do as much as I should.

I majored in French, which I began studying to impress my French girlfriend when I was 13. We lasted a whole month. I loved her with all my heart. There’s so much I want to study, from Persian to Astronomy. Sometimes I wish I could stay in school forever, or that I could always be 20… but then I realize how cliché and myopic that is. I have a hell of a lot of plans and hopes for the future and, say, about another 60 years to live them out. If I ever end up tied to a job that doesn’t let me fulfill my dreams, castrate me.

I’m not athletic but I love sports. So much so that I go to Astros games on a daily basis dressed like a puma to cheer for my favorite player. I’m not musically talented but I love music. I like watching movies, reading books, and reading newspapers. I have a big forehead, bushy eyebrows, a skinny body, and a big Persian nose “that doesn’t match my curvy lips.” I have a habit of starting things and not finishing them.
