Accepted!

Well, things are starting to look a lot more concrete! I just received an acceptance letter from the French Teaching Assistantship Program:

Dear Future Teaching Assistant,

Congratulations! We are very pleased to inform you that you have been accepted into the French Teaching Assistantship Program for the 2009-2010 academic year, sponsored by the French Ministry of Education.

From what I hear, most people get accepted, but I’m still pretty excited! I don’t have much information, except that I’ll be somewhere in the Academy of Nantes. That doesn’t necessarily mean that I’ll be in the city of Nantes, though. Minh will be in the city of Nantes, so I’m hoping that I’ll be too. I don’t really want to get stuck in a small town. Hopefully, I’ll only be a short bus\train ride away. I’ll have more information in June. So, start making your plans to come visit me after September. Whee!
