I really love this city. One reason is that it reminds me of Austin, which is awesome. There’s a young population in the center because of the University of Nantes and all the culture that comes with it. We have drag rats, college-style parties, weird sightings on the streets, and plenty of street performers.
Tonight, I was at Place Royale (one of the city’s main landmarks where there’s currently a christmas market surrounding the central fountain) when I saw a particularly fun group of street musicians. I took a video of them just in time to record a song about Chuck Norris and a better rendition of “Hit Me Baby One More Time.” Ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, I present to you La Famille Patchounharouf et Les Gentils Barbares.
